So, Chris-P People was on the Star subscriber thing! :)

I don't have the hard copy though, but a church member told me he has it and may pass it over to me. Then I'll add into my little file of appearing on the media in the most random circumstances. No really, like trying out skating at the park, 8TV interview, the funniest one was being on this Chinese magazine called E-Pop in the year 2007 and I didn't know the existence of that magazine until my friend told me, 'JESS, you're on E-Pop!'

Haha.

Maybe one day I should make soft copies of those random appearances on the media, though some is impossible like the TV appearances. Just for fun, I'd probably laugh when I look back at it. :P

Disappointment

Dear Sansa, I am sorry. :(

Pink Striped Nails

Hey guys! This is totally random stuff here.

I really had no idea what to paint on my nails, then the idea of stripes came in.

Actually, I started off painting black on white, horizontally. Either it doesn't suit me, or I just think it didn't look so good. So I tried pink, sideways.

And here's what I got!

Quite happy with the results! :)

Now I know what to paint on my nails this Christmas. Red stripes on white, like a candy cane! :D

My Ukulele! :)

Based on my previous posts on the intro of a Ukulele and the reasons why I want a Ukulele, you may already know I'd get one pretty soon.

And here you go, I got mine yesterday!

It is a Mahalo U30G - brown. Yup, came with a black gig bag! :)

Did you notice the dolphin tuner heads? Cute right! :)

Everything about it is cool. I just love it. ;)

And there goes this Mahalo Ukulele in my instrument family!

Reasons Why I Want A Ukulele! ♥

Ukulele!

Today, I'd like to share this lil' amazing instrument.

You may already know, it's a Ukulele! :D

I would say the best way to describe is that it is something like a smaller version of a guitar, with only 4 strings. The one I'm looking at is the standard(soprano) ones, which are higher in pitch from that of the guitar.

And to have an idea of how it sounds like, think of songs like Jason Mraz's - I'm Yours and listen to the instrument played!

The tunings for the strings are G' C' E' A'.

It is said that it will go out of tune once in a while, but like a guitar, you'll get used to retuning it time to time. ☺

iPad Winner! ♥ :')

I was doing my homework this afternoon when I got a text message from my dear friend, Marissa.

I read it, and my heart pumped real fast as I ran into the hall to tell my parents!

Mum, Dad, Jann & Benson was there at the scene, and we were all surprised and excited over it!

They told me to go online and check it out, so I immediately went on the computer.

And then all of us crowded around the screen and saw that I won the iPad, we all had another round of excitement! We were really happy! After 3 months... My efforts finally did pay off! :') ♥

I'm really happy and thankful for it! Thanks Youth World once again, my dear God, my lovely family, and my most amazing friends! Thanks also for all the wishes sent to me! I appreciate everything, from being here for me to supporting me, I wouldn't be where I am today if not of all of you! :D

Give, Hope, Love!

Bought a stainless steel water bottle today... It's my new baby! ♥ So pretty :D

Seems that it could store cold water and remain cold after long hours because of the double walled vacuum-insulation. It's heavier than a normal stainless steel bottle.

I really don't understand why I can't use it for hot water though... Is it because if I put hot water in it, it will damage the bottle? Or is it just because the heat won't last long? Confused ._.

The girl just told me that it can be used for cold water but not hot water. Hmm.

Tried searching about it online, but I couldn't find my answer -_-

RM35.90 for this baby, wallet pain! ('Wallet pain' is a term I learnt from Marissa :D)

Yeah, I never ever bought a bottle at this price before. So let's pray it will last very long and keep me healthy! :)

Senior year now, and it's more stressful than I thought.

I'm currently having my March holidays, one week. :D

Hello 2011 :)

It's been a while since I last blogged eh?

Been so busy with so many great things! :)

Then 2011 came, and I looked forward to it.

The first week of school passed, and I'm coping well as well as enjoying it :)

I admire my own neat and colorful work on my school notes x) New thing.

I'm in-charge of decorating the class for the first time, but yet it doesn't feel like a new thing to me :)

Plan to learn driving theory before my birthday, then take practical exam after I am officially seventeen ♥

I always loved driving, from driving on the computer to bumper cars to dreams to dad's car ;D

Come to think of it, I notice I love many racing car games ever since I was a kid. I remember we use to have this old gadget which requires about 6 huge batteries just to work... It's a mini steering wheel with a gear stick like an auto car xD

Oh, childhood times :)

Cha Soba

In case you don't know what I'm talking about...

CHA = Green Tea; SOBA = Noodles.

Daddy saw my Facebook status yesterday and he was like... "Eh, is this how you spell 'char siew pau'? 0.o"

Nevermind, I went shopping today with mummy and offered to provide tonight's dinner for the family.

( Except that Jann isn't at home. :I )

So I bought the green tea noodles and sauce.

Hey, I sacrificed that money to buy and cook dinner for tonight, when I actually planned to buy my iPod silicon case and screen protector!

But well, I'm so glad they liked the food :D

It's my second time of my life eating this dish - Cold Cha Soba.

The first time I ate was when my cousin, a piano teacher, brought me to Tropicana City Mall for her student's album launch. And so she brought me for lunch at a Japanese restaurant.

I saw that on the menu and I felt like trying it since it's something new to me and it looks interesting.

So there I go. And when the food came, I starred at it literally. And asked my cousin for help like how do you eat this? .___. (haha, really.)

So she taught me :D She loves Japanese food and she knows many Japanese things - even Japanese language.

The way of eating is kinda cool. The serving includes ice cubes on the noodles and a bowl of dilute sauce (soba tsuyu).

You're supposed to dip the noodles in the sauce with your chopsticks, then eat it.

Okay, sorry I didn't take a picture of the end product of my cooking, not that it's bad, but I just don't have the right kitchenware for the food and it will totally spoil the picture - HAHA.
