Fried Rice

Prepared these last night for this afternoon. I actually didn't have to bring the rice but I brought them ._.

This week, we're doing fried rice for cooking class. I nicely packed and brought dried chilli flakes, garlic cloves, an onion and dried parsley flakes. :) If you're wondering why did I use plastic wrap for the garlic cloves, it's because I didn't want the smell to stay in my bento container. Hee.

The onion was big. Erm no. The container is small. Haha! The two cucumbers are mini ones :D They're much more delicious than the usual big ones.

And there goes the fried rice! There are four of us in the group, myself, Marissa, Justin and Tuck Meng. Kit Ee joined us too :)

Oh chilli padi. You've added a striking colour to my food and a touch of spice that burnt my tounge for minutes!

There goes my bento for the day. Love the egg. :P If you're wondering, it's the brown sliced 'toppings' above the rice. :D

*ps. I'm so glad the knife is sharp this time! Makes life cutting food easier ;P

Brush Pen Review

My first brush pen. Wanted one for years!

I got this from Daiso. Yup, RM5.

I love it. (ps I copied the Japanese words from the wrapper :D)

Here's my opinion about this brush pen.

The advantages:

Price is reasonable, brush tip is good, ink is very even.

When you write or draw with it and overlap the ink, it'll look very even when it's dry. Not like pens or markers, you won't get the pressured line on the paper or the darker and lighter ink colour.

So it looks as if it was printed or only drawn once. I find it cool :B

About the ink colour, black, yes. But not as black as the usual black pens like G2, it's slightly grey compared to the G2 black.

Design of pen is simple, coated with grey, black and silver words.

I like the cap that clicks well when you cover it.

The disadvantages:

Hmm. So far so good. :)

Anyway, was quite surprised at the big crowd there at Tropicana. And it was such a super duper long que to the stage! =O

There were fans from Taiwan and Thailand there too. Awwe :)

It's quite cool to have met Fahrenheit face to face, although I did not went to the first floor where the stage is.

I was busy snapping 330 pictures in 1 hour at the 1st floor. Haha!

But seriously, I never ever thought I'd meet them in my life! And it's quite a last minute thing.

As in, I only knew they were here at KL during the 1st day they were here. And then I heard about the event held at Tropicana City Mall.

Thanks my dad for bringing me there! x)
